Tara's editorial illustrations and cartoons have been published in the New York Times, LA Times, USA Today , Austin Chronicle, Chicago NewCity, Cleveland Scene, SMITH Magazine, HEEB, US Catholic, Jewish Review, The Funny Times, and the Paris Review. Best known for co-collaborating with Harvey Pekar. Her most recent work has been published in "Long Story Short : Turning Famous Books into Cartoons" to be published summer of 2020. She illustrated Oscar Wilde's A Nightingale & a Rose for The Graphic Canon of Children's Literature. Also, for Seven Stories Press, In volumes two and three, she adapted classic literary works ; The Great Gatsby, Freud’s Interpretation of Dreams, Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables and biographies of the Beat Generation. Tara illustrated a series of art festival posters for Cleveland's historic Little Italy.  She lives with her family in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
